‘Caffarelli’ Treble Voices’ Choir
The ‘Caffarelli’ treble voices’ choir of the Traetta Theatre was born in 2014 thanks to the Municipality of Bitonto and the Traetta Opera Festival; its name comes from Gaetano Majorano, a famous castrato singer from Bitonto, contemporary of Tommaso Traetta and known as Caffarelli.
The choir experience, apart from contributing to their artistic and expressive development, also represents a precious occasion of education and growth for its very young protagonists, encouraging them to undertake a musical path, training musicians and, in general, tomorrow’s audience.
The ‘Caffarelli’ treble voices’ choir has also held several concerts with an orchestra and taken part into the productions of the Traetta Opera Festival. Natal’è is its first record.
